Western PA General Assembly

This year's speaker will by Chip Taylor, director of Intern Academy. Chip grew up in Colorado where his father was a Church of God pastor. He has attended every International Youth Convention since 1986 in Long Beach, California. He graduated from Mid-America Christian University. After internships in Washington State and Phoenix, Arizona, and the experience of that fateful IYC1992, Chip fell in love with student ministries. For over twenty-eight years, that calling has led to his own fruitful youth ministry. 

In 2009 with 4 Church of God youth pastors called coaches and 8 interns, Chip and his friends launched a new ministry called Intern Academy. Currently they now  have 61 coaches from a variety of different pastoral roles and have seen over 300 grads come through the program. Seeing the increase in this ministry Chip "left" youth ministry to oversee this volunteer organization.
