Dr. Carron Odokara
Rev. Dr. Carron Odokara is an ordained minister through the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana). For over 20 years, she was a corporate IT manager where she led global teams in software development, process improvement, and organizational transformation initiatives. During her many years of bi-vocational ministry, she served in multiple capacities in local congregations, in state ministry, and in national roles.
In her Church of God assignments, Dr. Odokara was elected to chair the Board of Directors in her former state of Michigan, and she served as the national Ministries Council Vice Chair. In addition, Dr. Odokara has represented the national Church of God externally through her appointment to the Board of Directors for the Wesleyan Holiness Women Clergy where she was later elected to be the President who worked with multiple faith group leaders to engage and equip hundreds in ministry.

Currently, Dr. Odokara serves on the board of directors for Children of Promise and as an adjunct professor at Anderson University’s School of Theology. She is excited to see how God will work through her and all the WPA leadership with hopes to invest in developing leaders, to multiply disciples and congregational impact, and to generate ministry community.

Dr. Odokara has earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, master’s degree in computer engineering, a Master of Divinity degree, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership.
For fun, Carron is a huge football fan playing fantasy football and rooting for the Detroit Lions with new rooting interests in the Pittsburgh Steelers. As an alum, she will continue to root for her Michigan Wolverines. Carron likes to get outside for exercise but also enjoys special times of seeking and listening to God out in the beauty of God’s creation.
More important than anything you might know or hear about Carron, she has a heart for God and for serving in ministry where God calls.
