Rev. Handel Smith is the Executive Director for US and Canada Strategy for Church of God Ministries and also Lead Pastor of the Celebration Church at Arrow Heights, Anderson IN. His educational accomplishments include a BA in public affairs - from Anderson College (now Anderson University) a MS in business administration and Executive Leadership, and a Certificate in Business, Management, Mar-keting, and Related Support services from Johns Hopkins University.

Awards: Presidential Eagle Award by Verizon Busi-ness, University Community Impact (AU), Professor of the Year (Strayer U), and many others.

Developed movement-wide Leadership Pipeline resource to serve senior pastors in the US and Canada.

Rev. Smith's current work with CHOG Ministries involves leading a team of dynamic leaders that serve over 2000 churches and over 6000 ministers.

Professional ministry of 40 years - pastoral leader-ship, Music Ministry, Church turnaround strategies.

He's the founder of High-Velocity Solutions (HVS) a company providing consulting in areas of church growth, management, technology, and marketing.

Rev. Handel previously had a tenure of 27 years as Vice President of Verizon Business. Rev. Smith is the husband of one wife (Vickey) and father of 3. They recently celebrated 41 years of marriage. His favorite Bible verse is Ps 1:2-3 ".. His delight is in the law of the Lord and on His law he meditates day and night...He is like a tree planted by streams of water which bears its fruit in season... whatever he does prospers"

RETREAT WORSHIP LEADER:

Patrick Polk became involved in full time worship ministry at the age of 17. He has served as Minister of Music for numerous churches and has lead God's people in worship throughout the United States and abroad. Today, Patrick serves as Minister of Music and Fine Arts for the Lincoln Avenue Church of God in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Patrick and his team are passionate about seeing people connect with their purpose in Christ and developing a real relationship with God through music and the Word. "One of our main ministry assignments is to strengthen churches and leaders in the area of Praise & Worship and to help develop a sense of deeper intimacy with God through their worship experiences."
